Marché Cluny Must Be Rebuilt

On the night of January 24–25, 2026, Marché Cluny burned to the ground. Built by President Florvil Hyppolite in 1890, it was the commercial hub of Cap-Haïtien for over a century — standing on a site that dates to 1764, once the Place Cluny, redeemed over generations as the beating heart of northern Haiti's commerce. It must rise again.

H.A.I.T.I.E.N. LTD. is ready to help coordinate rebuilding efforts. Contractors, investors, and donors may contact the mairie of Ville Okap at VilleOkap@gmail.com or reach us directly.
