May 2023 - A high-level Haitian delegation made an official visit to New Orleans and was warmly received by Mayor LaToya Cantrell and other city officials, as well as business leaders and Haitian diaspora organizations.
The officials discussed the strong cultural and historical ties between New Orleans and Cap-Haitien, and pledge further mutual cooperation to strengthen the bond between the two cities.
